For every type of surface this is different. During a virus outbreak, we recommend to deep clean the cabin floor (hard and soft) and seat covers at least once a week. The SHOU deep cleaning method takes about 25- 45 minutes for a narrow body aircraft when performed by two people. For daily cleaning it is advised to include vacuum cleaning and spot cleaning. All cleaning steps can be done on board of the aircraft. The three steps are easy to perform: 1) Vacuum cleaning 2) Spot cleaning 3) Deep cleaning of hard and soft flooring. There is no drying time or odour. We also advise treating both the carpet and the seat cover with an anti-microbial layer.
For textiles like carpet and seat covers we make us of use of a crystallization technique. The mist-sprayed solution crystallizes the dirt, which capsulate it and makes it vacuum-able. This is a very fast procedure compared to regular carpet cleaning, which is more time consuming because the carpet needs to be moisturised and needs to dry. SHOU is a dry-cleaning system and doesn’t need these long drying times. No residues are left, while with soap, foam or shampoo, sticky residue attracts more dirt after cleaning.
Tests show that the found that the catalyst is 1.8 times more efficient on removing formaldehyde and can last 8 times longer. The life span for activated carbon filters is 3 months, for HAT it is about 24 months. The catalyst should operate without decay for a long time. However, due to dust and the general environment, the catalyst will lose efficiency. Of course, the life of the product also depends on the exisiting concentration of pollutants.
The core technology is N-Orbital Oxide (DNO) catalyst, and there is a suit of patents granted for this. The two main ones are for the coating and the manufacturing process. The DNO catalyst is highly efficient and the price is low (due to the manufacturing process) and that is how we can make it available for use by the general public to tackle every day pollution in your home and work place
